General Assembly holds programs both online and in-person. They have many campuses across the U.S. and several abroad too. Prospective students can choose from a variety of course formats to match their budget, schedule, and topics of interest.
GA’s immersive programs are comparable to what other companies call “bootcamps”. Classes meet all day, five days a week and students develop portfolios of professional work, which they can then leverage to find and secure employment upon completion.
For those who may not be ready to dive into an all-day program, General Assembly also offers part-time courses that meet in two-hour blocks twice a week. These part-time courses are also great options for students who want to learn one specific skill like Python or React.
If the part-time courses still sound like too much of a commitment, GA also offers On-Demand learning programs for Data Analysis, UX Design, or Digital Marketing. When you sign up for these programs you get 12-month access to lesson guides, videos, quizzes, and 1:1 mentorship sessions.
Finally, General Assembly also has a full calendar of one-off workshops and trainings that you can sign up for. (Some of these do span across two days.) You can check out upcoming events on their website!
