Galvanize, now a sub-brand of bootcamp provider Hack Reactor, offers coding and data bootcamps. Their bootcamps can be taken either online or in-person and the online format is offered on a full-time or part-time schedule.
A unique feature of Galvanize is that their campuses also function as coworking spaces, similar to WeWork or Industrious. Non-students – freelancers, start-ups, entrepreneurs, etc. – rent workspace at their campuses. Students taking the bootcamps in person also have 24/7 access to facility resources like community kitchens, free coffee and conference rooms.
Galvanize offers a variety of payment plans including an ISA (income share agreement) that allows students to pay a small initial deposit and defer the rest of tuition until they secure a well-paying job. The company also offers a variety of partner apprenticeship programs, corporate programs, and programs geared toward veterans and federal employees.
